Solstice..St John…Litha… 21 – 24 June

The ancient solar cults divided the year into eight phases which opened with 8 holy days and special energy …
Solstice in the northern hemisphere is when nature is at the peak of its power. It is a time of celebration of celestial fire resulting in prosperity, fertility and luck …
Admittedly, the astrological chart Solstice, like that of the last full moon, still draws tensions. We may feel the urge to break  free of our comfort zones and separate from old patterns, and belongings, to really find the treasure of our identity.
The sign of Cancer, in which the Sun returns to the Solstice, tells us about our quest for the “I am”. Our quest must sometimes need protection; like getting into a cocoon for refuge, to allow us to relax and protect the treasure of our authentic self.
The Solstice can be a time of opening to take the time to read the sky.
“There is no one who is born under a bad star, there are only people who don’t know how to read the sky” the Dalai Lama …
Read the heaven above. Understand that we are connected to the celestial forces.. Allow yourself to feel it with your body; these cycles that punctuate our existence.
Those long summer evenings (in the northern hemisphere) can be used to tame our relationship with the stars. Be open to your intuition. Allow yourself to be in communion with the stars and sky that sustain us.
For Pagans, St John is  Litha, which is the celebration of the wedding  between the Sun and the Moon …
Let’s Celebrate the magic in those days.. The mysteries of earth, of sky and of our lives …
Do not hesitate if you have any questions or want to share your reading of the sky … I try every time to respond to all …
