New Moon in Libra October 13

Mantra: Cultivating harmony with oneself and others

This New Moon is a time to set an intention for our way of being in relationship with each other, not only in the privacy of the couple but also in our relationships in general …

The sign of balance is a quest for the perfect equilibrium, it always reminds me of the Egyptian symbol of the weighing of souls where the heart should be pure ….

Indeed, this Moon is an opportunity to purify our heart in our relationships, the Uranus-Pluto square is activated! It can lead to upheavals in our relationships: awareness, shadows issues coming up, abrupt changes … all this turbulence is inviting us to grow and become more authentic in our relationships..

It’s about finding the right balance between self and others: staying focused without getting lost in the other or closed in oneself!

We are also asked to dare looking at our heart : this place of openness and acceptance of the other, is it closed, open, wounded feelings, bitter, cheerful, light, sad?

What can we do to harmonize it? what does (did) it need to open again and to radiate and share its light without the fear of being hurt again?

Chiron, the archetype of the wounded healer comes in this moon inviting us to restore harmony, to feel again this peace to be who we are and offer it to the other! Being raw in the subtle combination of strength and vulnerability …

Yes these are sensitive times because we are being opened (by the other or) through him! Our relationships are requiring our courage to dare letting go the fear of the past, the wound from childhood and just BE with our beauty and our contradictions …

A week of invitation to find peace within oneself and with others

Winter Solstice and New Moon in Capricorm 21st and 22nd December

The Winter Solstice occurs a few hours before the new moon in Capricorn, we are therefore in the presence of a strong moment of energy with the possibility of laying down our intentions for 2015…

The winter solstice in the north hemisphere invites us to slow down, to take a pause in order to contemplate our lives, become observers of what is happening with us at this moment, without judging, just observing…

Taking this step back by coming into ourselves, coming into this silence of the heart that welcomes events without qualifying them as positive or negative. And in this space of peace and silence make room for the presence of the invisible and to ask ourselves what our intentions are for 2015, to offer them to the Universe so that it can receive them and protect us with trust, faith and patience to see them manifest in our lives.

All the energies of this new moon in Capricorn invite us to elevate, to be ambitious: to become who we deeply are, to align ourselves with the presence of What Is. The energy of Capricorn reminds us of the importance of integrity and simplicity. As if we need to purge ourselves not only materialistically, but to make ourselves naked in front of our own conscience and clarify our deepest aspirations: What is the goal of getting this promotion, this house, this object, this recognition? Am I really answering to my inner calling? This constant need is what Capricorn calls us to. Without falling into total asceticism, this new moon and the solstice can really open the doors of our inner temple to go back to the essentials. to clarify our intentions and to hold close those that will genuinely serve us in our inner growth…

For those that read me regularly or not, I wanted to thank you so much for your comments, shares and likes, an energy emanates from these exchanges and that touches me deeply… My intention is to continue to be able to give and share what is true whilst staying aligned and authentic…

Other important astrological aspects begin after the new moon, Uranus becomes direct, giving us a thirst for freedom and daring, to dare be, express, to dare enter into the presence of ‘I am’. Saturn is in its last days in the sign of Scorpio after having moved us in our depths by inviting us to put light on our relationships and emotional world, is enters Sagittarius on the 23rd of December.

New Moon in Sagittarius, 22nd of November.

We are entering into the month of Sagittarius, an invitation to come out of our bows, and to no longer point our arrows inwards (sometimes in Scorpio we can really hurt ourselves), and orient them towards the sky.

To dream, to imagine… that all is possible.

That the future is open and that we are the authors of it. Yes, I believe that destiny is written, and that we write it too… The hand of the universe inspires us to be more guided in our decisions and lifestyle choices.

Let us be inspired by Venus, the muse of love and beauty, to colour our dreams, to infuse passion into them, to cultivate friendship bonds that lift us up, in which we feel that there are shared aspirations…

This calls for courage, to dare to be aligned with our deepest truth, and to take this direction, the one that invites us to follow our intuition, to stay loyal to our deepest beliefs…

In the chart of this New Moon, Chiron is stationary, so it sends a strong healing energy, one of becoming aware of what might be stopping us from moving towards our deepest aspirations. It manifests through our dreams, in our moments of contemplation and meditation…

It can give us the keys to understand these areas of vulnerability within us, of our difficulties in moving forwards through fear of getting hurt, of hurting others, of being rejected, or abandoned. This stops us from waking up to our own truth and to dare shine it within our families, in our work, in the world…

Yes, a time to sow the seeds of expansion, to dare dream, write, to share with others the most extravagant projects, those that open up our child self, those that make our soul sing, those that make the stars dance in our eyes…

I wish you sweet dreams, and the strength to make them come true…

Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Scorpio, 23rd of October 2014

A partial solar eclipse marks the moment in which the sun, the moon and the Earth are in alignment, and where we see the moon come in front of the sun, thus blocking the normal diffusion of solar energy..

The new moon that is produced is intense, it really marks the end of a cycle and the rebirth of something new in our lives.

In the sign of Scorpio conjoined with Venus, it brings us like Inanna to descend into the underworld so that we can symbolically release what is impeding us to find our own power.

This descent into the shadows is strong, asks for our courage, and it is impossible to pretend, impossible to hide the knots that inhabit our inner selves. It is sometimes within the intimacy of our relationships in the sign of Scorpio that we are forced to look at things, potential power games, our own zones of shadow: Are we really honest in what we ask and express to the other? Do we talk from a standpoint of love or do we sometimes let ourselves be dominated by fear by hiding and manipulating what we are really feeling?

Yes, going down to observe our emotions, what is hiding behind our symptoms, what is being said? Can we be born again to ourselves despite this eclipse by honouring our lunar needs, by respecting our emotions even if we sometimes find them ugly or inconvenient?

And we are helped by the Trigone of Neptune which reminds us that even in the darkness, there is light, that we are not alone even if this crossing of the darkness is sometimes done in solitude, we must not forget that we are connected to the universal consciousness, that there are others like us who are lost in the darkness, who are looking for their own light, and that we can be linked to them, by having compassion for ourselves and for all of human suffering…

But this new moon and eclipse do not only talk to us of the shadow – they also hold the strength of the Phoenix that comes back from its ashes, by inviting us to transmute our lead into gold to be reborn, to connect to our strength, to this noble interior force, often more humble after this crossing…

It is a journey to connect ourselves to our light, the beauty that resides within, which we discover sometimes in the mud or in places we expected the least…

A time of renewal and of transformation, daring to plant inside this moon one of the seeds of transformation to accompany us in this journey.

One small detail: Mercury will become direct on the 25th of October, I don’t know if like me you are waiting for this with impatience, because even if this brings us to a time of inner focus, this is not something to resent, well at least not for me…

Yours sincerely.

Please don’t hesitate to share and comment on my article, I will be choosing at random from the comments to offer a theme reading linked to this new moon.
