One of my teachers in Guatemala, a magical woman, would often remind us, ”Destiny is written but we are also writing it”.

Starting Thursday we go into the dark phase of the moon, previous New Moon October 30, with mercury that joins the Sun. We are required more than ever to bring the truth to the surface, to break through what troubles us in our relationships, to speak from this space inside us that is deeply aligned with our essential truth.

This is reinforced Friday by Mars in Capricorn square Uranus in Aries. We are affected in our paths and our goals. The Full Moon has asked us to purify our intentions and actions. This week we are asked to dare to act, to take the risk out of the conventional and rigid framework of Capricorn, to follow our vision.

Saturday, joined Venus in Sagittarius Saturn … . frustrates us in our relationships, our passionate desires, our creativity. The limit of Saturn can be experienced as intense stress, as if reality does not allow us to deploy our dreams, yet it is also a great master of discipline and commitment. Maybe it comes just to tell us where there is resistance. There is a great treasure of learning and wisdom that is revealed to us only if we promise to work through the resistance, to follow our dreams despite apparent limitations.

Finally, the week ends with the New Moon in Scorpio. Let us take time this week to let go of what no longer serves us.
